Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, involving data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for information technology project implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Ensure that the design is transformed into code components as per design patterns and architectural principles by performing code reviews and unit test walkthroughs. Manage the implementation of data enrichment, lookup, filtering and data cleansing routines and solutions to improve data quality of the ingested data. Perform performance tuning of the components to meet the performance requirements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

 

  • Participating in teams utilizing Microsoft (MS) SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Infoworks, Snowflake, Informatica PowerCenter, SAP BusinessObjects (BO), and SAP BO Data Services (BODS), to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and cloud-based platforms;
  • Participating in teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including R Studio and Tableau, to produce analysis and algorithms;
  • Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and user experience, utilizing Lucidchart;
  • Improving data discovery, sourcing, modeling and analytics by defining process mapping, decision mapping and data governance to support the creation of data flows and models with Erwin and Informatica Metadata Manager;
  • Participating in complex IT engagements and teams for data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data conversion, data quality, and data modeling, utilizing Collibra Data Dictionary and Informatica tools, including Master Data Management (MDM) and Metadata Manager; and
  • Participating in the development of master data architecture to support master data management, quality, and governance capabilities, using Informatica MDM.
