Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Lead in San Francisco, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Lead information technology projects, including the development of Cloud-based technologies, interface design and development, and overseeing all aspects of the systems development life cycle. Lead the end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by leading the design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Lead various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and advance pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes in connection to information technology projects, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the Cloud community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of related work experience. Will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service.
Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing technology microservices architecture in Microsoft (MS) Azure Cloud and IBM Bluemix Cloud, developing Cloud components using Node.js and Java Spring Boot framework, and leading the development process to integrate micorservices with Redis, IBM Cloudant DB, Apache Kafka Message Hub, and Dynatrace to oversee information technology projects;
- Utilizing Cloud platforms, Java frameworks, messaging platforms, and monitoring tools, including Azure, IBM Bluemix, Node.js, Java Spring Boot, Redis, IBM Cloudant, Apache Kafka Message Hub, and Dynatrace, to lead design and development within Cloud messaging, Ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services;
- Leading the improvement of internal processes and promoting knowledge sharing among the team by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence;
- Leading Cloud Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and IBM Bluemix Cloud professional services teams that specialize in Elastic, Automated, and Integrated Infrastructure platforms, Cloud Connection to External Services and SaaS, Identity and Access Control, Monitoring, Automated Provision of Containerized platforms, Automated Build and Deployment, and Automated Testing;
- Developing practical solutions and methodologies, and developing "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents utilizing MS Azure Cloud, IBM Bluemix Cloud, Node.js, Java Spring Boot frameworks, microservices with Redis, IBM Cloudant DB, Apache Kafka Message Hub, and Dynatrace with microservices architecture and circuit breaker design patterns;
- Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff; and
- Leading technical teams to architect, build, and deploy multi-cloud solutions utilizing Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloudify, IBM Multicloud Manager, and OpenStack.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $161,000.00 - $268,000.00.
