Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the creation of proposal pricing strategies. Mentor junior staff and engage in learning development with aims of promoting technical and functional skills in junior staff. Develop and recommend enhancements and optimizations from an internal and external perspective and contribute to thought ware and point of view documents.

Requirements 

Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM degree, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following: Leading teams utilizing Agile and Waterfall project delivery and data analytics solutions lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Analytics & Cognitive, Strategy & Analytics solutions for enterprise-level clients to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and cloud-based platforms. Leading complex engagements with data management consulting spanning master data, metadata, data architecture, data conversion, data governance, and data quality using Stibo STEP Master Data Management, ER/Studio, Collibra, and Informatica IDQ (Informatica Data Quality). Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience by utilizing JIRA, SharePoint, Lucidchart, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Project. Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and contributing to business development efforts, including the development of proposals and proposal strategy development. Providing data and information management solutions to clients in the Financial Services and Healthcare industries. Leading teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools including Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Power BI to produce analysis and algorithms. Improving internal processes and promoting knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.
