Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of information technology project engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the advancement of pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

- 50% Travel required nationally.
- Telecommuting permitted.
- Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and Hybrid Agile methodologies to lead information technology projects;
- Guiding teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures by leveraging Atlassian Jira, Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and Hybrid Agile methodologies;
- Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analyses using Oracle, Tableau, Operation Reports, Performance Dashboards, and Client Demos;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs utilizing use case, sequence, architecture, and state diagrams;
- Participating in business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation through use of Snagit, Microsoft (MS) Visio, and Entity Relationship (ER) modeler;
- Leading development, testing, and deployment, by employing Eclipse, IBM WebSphere, Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and Hybrid Agile methodologies; and
- Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes including Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and Hybrid Agile methodologies.
