Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50 % Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leveraging Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies to manage software development and implementation services, utilizing SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Enterprise HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP BusinessObjects (BO) solutions;
  • Supporting components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Enterprise HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP BO;
  • Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures;
  • Tracking application defects, managing defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Quality Center (QC);
  • Coordinating Statement of Work (SOW) and client proposals, and supporting deliverables for every phase of complex implementations for Consumer, Technology and Media clients using Microsoft (MS) Project, MS Visio, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan);
  • Supporting full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables by leveraging SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), and building custom applications using SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Enterprise HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BO, SAP Management of Change, and Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, and CI/CD methodologies;
  • Conducting training sessions to facilitate SAP systems knowledge transfer, including creating training materials and reference guides; and
  • Enabling medium and large-scale client go-to-market strategies by converting design inputs into process flows and developing solutions for commercial operations and supply chains, using SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Enterprise HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP BO.

Annual Salary: $192,500- $$219,000
