Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Richmond, VA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects for software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Manage test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to End, and Performance Testing. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers.; Work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, managing activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Team Foundation Server (TFS), SharePoint, and Agile methodology;
  • Overseeing technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, utilizing MS TFS and Visio, Jira, and Micro Focus ALM;
  • Reviewing Functional, Performance, and Security testing using Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Selenium, LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI), and Burp Suite solutions;
  • Managing test scripts, plans and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing Micro Focus ALM and MS TFS;
  • Creating and developing test case reports and documenting use and test cases for Micro Focus ALM and MS TFS with test scenarios;
  • Performing and overseeing testing across custom developed solutions, including DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) methodology based solutions and large-scale package implementations, utilizing Jenkins & MS TFS;
  • Organizing with teams, including external vendors across different types of testing, utilizing System Integration (SIT) and End-to-end (E2E) testing; and
  • Coordinating and performing testing for systems implementations in multiple industries, including Transportation & Logistics, Telecom, and Financial Services.
