Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.
- 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Accelerated SAP (ASAP) and Agile methodology to manage software development and implementation services, utilizing SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO);
- Participating in and delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing SAP FICO;
- Participating in teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, scenario design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures;
- Tracking application defects, managing defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing ServiceNow and HP Applicant Lifecycle Management (ALM);
- Participating in aspects of the full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables by leveraging SAP FICO and building custom applications, using ASAP and Agile methodology;
- Conducting training sessions to facilitate SAP systems knowledge transfer, including creating training materials and reference guides; and
- Engaging in business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions.
