Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle for the development of Cloud-based technologies. Manage end-to-end journey for information technology projects from On-Premise to Cloud by leading the design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Manage various aspects of the full software development life cycle in relation to information technology projects, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Position requires three (3) years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leveraging AWS and Containerization to manage the design and development for Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services;
  • Coordinating with technical teams to architect, build, and deploy multi-cloud solutions, using HPE GreenLake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform to support enterprise clients;
  • Defining, tracking, and measuring overall department performance and metrics, creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress, utilizing Agile methodology;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology solutions, using On-Premise application servers, AWS, and Google Cloud Platforms;
  • Developing data migration plans from legacy platforms to private and public cloud platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud;
  • Guiding teams in designing solutions within cloud infrastructures, using Slack, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft (MS) OneNote, MS Project, and AWS Identity & Access Management (IAM); and
  • Guiding the development, communication, and implementation of organizations’ DevOps capabilities, including continuous integration, continuous test automation, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring, using Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Selenium, Cobertura, and New Relic.
  • Annual Salary: $172,600 - $181,230
