Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leveraging SAP Activate, Accelerated SAP (ASAP), and Agile methodologies to manage software development and implementation services, utilizing SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD), SAP IS-Oil (Industry Specific--Oil & Gas), and SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Cloud;
  • Delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing SAP;
  • Identifying business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, and defining support procedures;
  • Tracking application defects, managing defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), ServiceNow, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan);
  • Developing statement of work (SOW) and client proposals, and managing deliverables for every phase of complex implementations for Oil & Gas and Semiconductor clients, using SAP Activate methodology;
  • Participating in full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables, leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP Order to Cash (OTC), and SAP CRM Cloud, and building custom applications using SAP Fiori;
  • Participating in business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions; and
  • Enabling medium and large-scale client go-to-market strategies by converting design inputs into process flows and developing solutions for commercial operations and supply chains, using SAP SD and SAP Logistics Execution (LE) modules.
