Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpret and report on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leading the design and implementation of Data warehouse and Business Intelligence transformations to generate insights, leveraging Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Editions (OBIEE), Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), Oracle Analytics Cloud ML/AI, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Cloud Marketplace, Oracle Data Sync and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including data cleansing and conversions, interface design, and development;
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting the overall project delivery and leading the software implementation lifecycle to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and implement reporting data platform for cloud and on premise based SaaS Enterprise Resource Planning applications, utilizing Oracle Fusion Analytics, Oracle OAC, and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Conducting business process workshops to understand current state data analytics platform architecture, perform on-premise and cloud strategy assessment, prepare the overall design for target state architecture, and designing strategy and roadmaps for On-Premise to BI Cloud transformation;
  • Implementing end to end integration of various source systems to Big Data platform and Analytics warehouse, and implementing reporting Oracle Fusion Analytics, OAC, and OBIEE platforms to meet business requirements;
  • Overseeing the tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing ServiceNow and Jira;
  • Mentoring and supporting Oracle Analytics professional services teams that specialize in Oracle Analytics Cloud, OBIEE, OBIA, Oracle Analytics Cloud ML/AI, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Data Integrator Cloud Marketplace, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Oracle Data Sync on cloud;
  • Leading stakeholder and communications management processes, including risk and issue escalation and executive reporting;
  • Developing and delivering business enhancement activities, including client proposals, pricing and Statement of Work (SOW) creation, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and point of view development.
