Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall information technology project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpret and report on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies for information technology projects. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodology to participate in Oracle software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Consumer, Financial Services, and Energy and Resource industries;
  • Participating in all phases of the Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodology project delivery and software implementation lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Utilizing Atlassian Jira, Microsoft (MS) Excel, Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI), and UiPath tools to support and participate in Unit, Functional Integration, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance (UAT) testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Conducting Application integration and developing business process workshops, utilizing current state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes, and environments utilizing MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Functional (FDD), and Technical (TDD) design specification documents;
  • Participating in assessments of current legacy systems and business architecture, utilizing gap analysis templates to design Oracle integration for Oracle Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), Oracle Transport Management (OTM), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) system landscapes;
  • Developing functional specifications for custom developments, and interfacing with external systems via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Cloud native apps, Representational State Transfer (REST), and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) web services;
  • Participating in the tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Smartsheet and Atlassian Jira; and
  • Participating in the design and delivery of user manuals and training for solutions for the successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments utilizing Jira, Confluence, MS Word, and Excel.
