Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects for SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Overseeing the process of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Coordinating and delivering components of engagements, evaluating client’s business, modernizing core systems, and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing Agile, Waterfall, Enterprise Value Delivery (EVD), SAP Activate, and Accelerated SAP (ASAP) Methodologies;
  • Working across phases of the Project Deployment Lifecyle for Enterprise and Finance Transformations, including Planning and Execution phases for solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP S4/HANA platform to enhance user experience in Finance Transformation through SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Master Data Governance (MDG) modules, and Group Reporting in SAP;
  • Developing integration strategy and architecture recommendations for integrating upstream and downstream system applications in the client landscape;
  • Leading large-scale Finance Transformation implementations across organizations globally, driving program governance, and managing client and stakeholder expectations;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in process workshops to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams, and prepare business blueprint documents, utilizing Enterprise Consciousness, Sprint planning, and Agile and Waterfall Methodologies;
  • Managing project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope, and resources, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project, Smartsheet, Project Charter, and Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log;
  • Leading Quality Assurance (QA) for client deliverables, including multiple cutover cycles, including User Testing and Business Sign Offs, utilizing HP Quality Center (QC), MS DevOps, and ServiceNow; and
  • Performing SAP S4/HANA production rollouts and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing DevOps, ServiceNow, and HPQC.
