Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Sacramento, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of information technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Manage test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Serve as an technical liaison between the business, information technology project teams and developers and testers. Work with information technology infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing JIRA, MPP, Agile and Waterfall Testing methodologies;
  • Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing JIRA, JAMA, X-Ray, Selenium, WAVE, Axe for ADA, Bugzilla and JMeter;
  • Participating in the development of technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models and process models, utilizing JIRA, Wave, Axe for ADA, SoapUI and Swagger for Interface testing;
  • Reviewing System Integration, User Acceptance, Regression, Functional and Non Functional, Automated Multi Language, Cross Browser and Cross Device testing for Agile, Waterfall and V model testing projects and solutions;
  • Creating and developing test case reports and documenting use and test cases for System Integration, User Acceptance, Usability, Interface, End to End and Regression testing with test scenarios, and maintaining test scripts, plans and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing JIRA, JAMA, Bugzilla, X-Ray and Selenium;
  • Performing and testing across custom developed solutions, including Agile, Waterfall and V model testing projects, solutions based solutions, and large-scale package implementations, utilizing JIRA, JAMA, Wave, Axe, NVDA and DragonSpeak;
  • Participating in teams, including external vendors across different types of testing, utilizing Partner End to End Testing and Interface Application Programming Interfaces (API) Testing; and
  • Coordinating and performing testing for systems implementations in multiple industries, including insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom and retail industries.
