Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Seattle, WA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.


Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing SAP S/4HANA, SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Interfaces, Reports, User Exits, Batch Data Communication (BDC), SAP Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), ABAP List Viewers (ALVs), Requirement Routines, Adobe forms and Object-oriented Programming (OOP) to address business needs through information technology projects, development and implementation services;
  • Managing and delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing knowledge on SAP Order to Cash (OTC), SAP Logistics Execution (LE), SAP Quality Management (QM), and SAP Transportation Management (TM);
  • Tracking application defects and managing defect resolution efforts and documenting resolution details, utilizing ServiceNow, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Apache JMeter, and Sharepoint and reporting to senior leadership on project status and defects;
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for teams and staff;
  • Managing full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables by leveraging project estimators, integration management, SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), SAP LE, SAP TM and building custom applications using Hybrid Agile Methodology, and Integrated Water Flow Model (IWFM);
  • Managing business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions;
  • Managing Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover and multi-phase go live planning and deployment using Rollout Management, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) strategy roadmap; and
  • Designing custom interfaces and standard interfaces with existing Legacy applications using Representational State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) Process Integration (PI).
