Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of information technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall information technology project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements and interpret and report on outputs. Oversee the process of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the information technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices for information technology projects.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Participating in the delivery of components of engagements, evaluating client’s business, modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with SAP solutions, utilizing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba;
  • Working across phases of the SAP implementation project lifecycle, including project preparation, business blueprint and design, realization, cutover, and go-live and post go-live support for solutions for global enterprise-level clients across industries, utilizing Accelerated SAP (ASAP), and Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies;
  • Developing integration strategy and architecture recommendations for integrating SAP and Ariba solutions, utilizing Common Gateway Interface (CIG) in the client’s landscape;
  • Participating in project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project and Excel;
  • Utilizing HP Quality Center (HPQC), SAP Test Suite, BMC Remedy, and Atlassian JIRA to support and perform Functional Unit, System Integration (SIT), and User Acceptance (UAT) testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions; and
  • Performing SAP S/4HANA and Ariba implementation and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), S/4HANA and Ariba modules, including Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing and Commerce Automation.
