Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage SAP software advisory and implementation and services for information technology projects to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Oversee the process in connection with information technology projects of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the technology needs as related to information technology projects of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and five (5) years of related work experience. Will accept bachelor’s equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Candidate must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Guiding and delivering components of engagements, evaluating client’s business, modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing SAP, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Ariba, SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Vertex, MS-Office Suite, and ASAP Methodology for ERP implementation;
  • Working across phases of the SDLC lifecycle for Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology project implementation, including preparation, business blueprint, realization, go-live and hyper care support phases for SAP;
  • Developing integration strategy and architecture recommendations for integrating SAP Finance and controlling modules (FICO) in SAP, EDI Invoices, ARIBA, Vistex, Vertex, and Banking applications in the client’s landscape;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in process workshops to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams, and prepare business blueprint documents, utilizing MS-Visio, BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) tools, and ASAP methodology;
  • Coordinating project teams and project delivery and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing ALM and Service Now;
  • Utilizing ALM to support and perform unit testing, multiple integration test cycles, business user acceptance testing and cutover activities to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing Uperform tool; and
  • Performing SAP Finance Controlling modules production rollouts and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing Service Now tool.
