Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Participating in all phases of Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing PEGA, Appian, Java, J2EE, and .NET and Cloud-based implementation projects for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing user participation, interface design, requirements documentation, Use-Case creation, user flow diagram creation, and requirement modelling and evaluation, and utilizing MS Office Suite, MEGA, MS Visio, and Lucidchart tools;
  • Utilizing MS Office Suite, Jira, and Azure DevOps to lead the design and development of project solutions, by modernizing IT efficiency, agility, and resilience;
  • Participating in End to End (E2E) testing utilizing Postman, Apache JMeter, Azure DevOps, HP Mercury, and MS Project to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Participating in engagement teams focused on Java, J2EE, Pega, and Appian delivery;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs, utilizing Jira, Azure ADO, product flow diagrams, prototypes, mockups, and use cases;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, and MS Office Suite; and
  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing requirement backlog, milestone tracking, and release roadmap planning.
