Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Overseeing the process of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing and delivering components of engagements, evaluating client’s business, modernizing core systems, and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodology via flowcharts, table validations, and conducting workshops with business subject matter experts;
  • Working across phases of the Agile and Waterfall methodology, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling and closure for solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP Materials management, Production planning, Inventory management and Accounts processing modules;
  • Developing integration strategy and architecture recommendations for integrating 200+ applications using Agile model in the client’s landscape;
  • Leading large-scale SAP HANA implementations across organizations globally, driving program governance and managing client and stakeholder expectations;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in process workshops to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams, and prepare business blueprint documents, utilizing workflows and classifying requirements into Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW);
  • Managing project teams and project delivery and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope, and resources, utilizing budget estimators, and SQL queries;
  • Utilizing ALM and Qlik to support and perform unit testing, string testing, integration testing, and stress testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions; and
  • Performing SAP HANA and SAP upgrade production rollouts and providing post-production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing ALM and MS project to drive daily cadence calls and SLA’s.
