Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address clients’ needs and improve performance by determining the appropriate talent structure and transform their workforce practices in ways that lead to significant savings, a leading edge on competition, and greater efficiency. Manage day-to-day interactions with executive and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Manage teams that provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Manage aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing teams that define, build, and implement enhancements to HR processes and structure;
  • Interfacing directly with clients to gather and analyze requirements to support Workforce Transformation project design;
  • Managing teams that define, build, and implement programs that enable the success of transformation goals;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be organization, processes and environments specific to organizational design, workforce capacity and competencies, training, talent acquisition and development using Prosci;
  • Generating and delivering project and workstream status reports to internal and external stakeholders and leading onshore and offshore team members, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables in Workforce Transformation projects; and
  • Providing periodic performance feedback for team members and providing input during mid-year and end of year appraisal reviews.
