Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Oversee effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within Financial Services Industries. Manage delivery of payments content experience across the payments processing, acquiring, and gateway sectors of the industry. Manage client advisory on debit, credit, ach, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments. Manage vendor assessment for content management of financial services companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, road-mapping, and pricing assessment. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Oversee proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Driving the creation of innovative and transformative solutions for clients within the Financial Services Industry utilizing Agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies;
  • Managing teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing data-driven insights in alignment with Data Management, Data Privacy, Anti-Money Laundry (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) financial services regulations;
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Leading the quality assurance (QA) for client’s deliverables, including such retail and commercial banking target operating model layers as organizational design, talent, governance, tools, and processes, per business specifications and agreed-upon timelines;
  • Defining Agile digital transformation approaches to oversee scalable and available designs to provide technical solutions and define business and technology architecture, based on selected burdens of proof and core strategic principles;
  • Working across phases of the retail and commercial banking value chain, including the design and implementation of digital product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Overseeing the Choice Cascade strategic framework to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI);
  • Utilizing ServiceNow, Collibra, Salesforce, Jira, and KYC banking platforms to address key banking challenges related to cost increase, regulatory compliance, and revenue generation.
