Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities. Design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Convert legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts; design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion.

  • 50% travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Supporting implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, and Agile methodology;
• Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, using Atlassian Jira, MS Excel, MS Project, Salesforce CRM & Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketo, and NetSuite;
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, leveraging Figma, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Lucidchart;
• Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Atlassian Jira and MS Excel;
• Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Platforms, including Atlassian Jira, Trello, and Kanban, for enterprise-level clients;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs, utilizing Jira, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for developing On-Premise and Cloud-based applications to deliver solutions;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, using MS PowerPoint and Atlassian Jira; and
• Gathering UI (User Interface) design, designing Cloud-based data models, scripting test scenarios, system testing, and providing technical support for enterprise-level clients, leveraging MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Atlassian Jira.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
