Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Richmond, VA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Salesforce Service cloud, Salesfore Sales Cloud, Agile methodolgies, Software Development Life Cycle and Discovery;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Lucid chart, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence;
  • Creating web applications using Visualforce, Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript to provide service and data to users;
  • Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visualizations of data trends, and data models by utilizing Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI in order to support business and functional requirements within the Insurance, HealthCare, Education, and Research industries;
  • Designing and developing applications using APEX Language, Visualforce, Salesforce Lightning, JavaScript, Salesforce Lightning Web Components, and Conga to meet functional needs for software applications;
  • Architecting, implementing and supporting Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesfore Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Community Cloud, infrastructure and topologies;
  • Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design, development, and systems development utilizing Informatica; and
  • Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Jira, Rally, and Salesforce.
