Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities. Design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Convert legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts; design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Supporting implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including Salesforce interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing project & backlog management tools and Agile methodology;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, to be used for application development;
  • Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details utilizing project management tools;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Platforms, including managing backlog items and functional design of Salesforce platform solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs, utilizing user stories and prototype visualization tools, for developing Cloud-based applications to deliver solutions;
  • Using Salesforce Cloud Platform knowledge and business rules to design and implement cloud solutions; and
  • Gathering User Interface (UI) design, designing Cloud-based data models, system testing, and providing support for enterprise-level clients.

Annual Salary: $128,000 - $134,400
