Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Atlanta, GA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Help define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Research user reported issues with software systems, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have 1 year of experience in the following:

  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state systems, processes, and environments utilizing IoT, supply chain optimization program management, and Agile software development, and performing gap analysis using SWOT and Fishbone;
  • Gathering functional and technical requirements, writing and managing user stories, and analyzing and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions to meet clients’ needs, using Azure Development Ops and Jira;
  • Creating screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, using inVision;
  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis, and profiling to identify data gaps utilizing SQL;
  • Assisting with developing test strategy for large-scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle, by driving discussions with client executives and orchestrating with Scrum teams;
  • Performing System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance (UAT) and end-to-end user Journey testing utilizing Salesforce and Python, to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details utilizing Jira and qTest; and
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables and status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to stakeholders utilizing Pulse reports, business readiness summaries and dashboards, using Tableau software.
