Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Minneapolis, Minnesota and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Perform digital and service UX/UI (User Experience and User Interface) design, practice a rigorous design process, and utilize these designs to drive innovative and transformative solutions that address the client’s next generational needs. Design modern and industry-specific solutions to deliver outcomes that improve flexibility, scalability and cost management using conversational UI augmented, virtual or mixed reality and motion design. Create designs, from concept through prototyping, with modern programs or technologies. Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to create Deloitte-customized information architectures, user flows and journeys, personas and scenarios, and wireframe artifacts. Facilitate workshops and user testing sessions that meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience.

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Candidate must also have 1 year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Performing UX-UI (User Experience-User Interface) design and designing processes, including ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping, and testing, via stakeholder interviews and requirement gathering workshops while leveraging Agile methodologies;
  • Utilizing storytelling, design thinking, and human-centered design to drive innovation and user-centric ideation projects forward using JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite;
  • Utilizing Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Mural, Visio, and MS Office to create end-to-end process mappings, high fidelity wireframes, detailed user stories, requirement sheets, executive summaries for leadership and slide decks for Request for Proposals (RFPs);
  • Gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, using story refinement and grooming sessions, sprint and increment planning sessions, and feature and backlog prioritization sessions;
  • Applying design principles, methods, techniques, and best practices to optimize end user experiences within a digital workflow of creative disciplines from Branding, Visual Hierarchy, Typography, Grids and Color Theory; and
  • Performing and implementing front-end user interface for applications according to technical requirements using scheduled deployment releases to perform business validations in custom application environments specific to various clients while leveraging an Agile-centric methodology to clarify requirements and triage any bugs or defects.
