Monitor Institute by Deloitte (MIbD), a consulting team within Deloitte’s Purpose Office, works with social impact-focused businesses, philanthropies, and nonprofits. Work you’ll do
Consultants are key members of client project teams that own and execute on major streams of work including synthesis of interviews, research and data analysis, and development of strategies and operational considerations. In addition to client work, Consultants are expected to support practice development efforts including methodology development, thought pieces, and proposals to advance MIbD’s market position and internal capabilities.
- Execute work streams on time and according to specifications, as jointly prioritized with project team.
- Confirm understanding of asks / assignments with senior-team members; solicit additional direction and guidance if needed; maintains positive attitude when presented with a barrier.
- Propose and draft materials (e.g., frameworks, hypotheses, storyboards, analyses, and client meeting agendas) that will advance project work and meet client needs.
- Own development of high-quality deliverables (grammatically correct, well-formatted, visually appealing), ranging from interview synthesis to secondary research findings to data analysis (e.g., operational, and financial models) and beyond.
- Strike the right balance between deliverable quality and execution speed.
- Identify short-term (daily/weekly) priorities to support work plan and flags possible issues / suggests solution.
- Consultative mindset and ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances and complex structures.
- Commitment to bring an EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) lens.

Qualifications
Required:
- 2 or more years of prior consulting experience.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for client engagements, team retreats and training.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding and experience working on social sector issues, including but not limited to education, workforce development, health equity, or financial inclusion.
- Experience designing and applying qualitative and quantitative measurement methods to assess social impact programs and services.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Strong slide craft and storyboarding skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple workstreams and deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize activities and manage to fast-paced deliverable due dates and workplan.
- Proven leadership and teaming skills.
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to working in the social sector.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $64,935 to $119,580.
You may also be eligible to participate in a sales incentive program, whereby you may be eligible to receive certain incentive compensation amounts based on achievement of certain sales goals set forth each year, subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable program document.
