Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Supply Chain and Network Operations in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Create innovative and transformative solutions that address Supply Chain needs; create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives. Architect enterprise, customer and operating model strategies and advise on how to grow business and achieve target cost structures; help innovate and transform current business models and customer experiences, to create sustaining competitive advantage, that leverage emerging digital and cognitive technologies. Provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations and Supply Chain foundation. Provide support in developing and documenting Supply Chain processes and metrics in a manner consistent with six sigma and lean methodologies. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Assist in developing a shared services organization and improve back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes. Perform business case analysis to understand opportunities for Supply Chain cost optimization; help organizations deliver critical programs by enabling them to make better business decisions on the cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial information on the market, key players, and industry trends; and analyze financial statements and budgeting processes to identify cost levers for reduction and optimization.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. One year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Performing end-to-end supply chain assessments of existing operations, processes, tools and technologies, and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities to enhance and optimize supply chain performance;
  • Performing research and advanced analytics using tools, including Anaplan, Minitab and XLSTAT to develop qualitative and quantitative metrics and industry benchmarks;
  • Assisting clients with supply chain KPI development and process standardization using Lean and Six Sigma tools;
  • Developing Tableau and Microsoft (MS) Excel dashboards to help clients with end-to-end supply chain visibility;
  • Deploying change management and end-user training programs during and after supply chain technology implementation phase for software and tools, including Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RedPrairie WMS, by creating standard operating procedures and high-level description of operations and processes;
  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing analysis and identifying data gaps to rectify redundancies and anomalies;
  • Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools, including XLSTAT and Minitab to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.
  • 80% travel required nationally.
