Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Enterprise PerformanceSAP in Pleasanton, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Assess current logistics processes, identify areas of improvement, and develop custom solutions to meet specific requirements. Identify business process improvements in SAP R/3, ECC 6.0 (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component) and S/4HANA environment and resolve configuration and functional issues across Logistics and Distribution processes through LE (Logistics Execution) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) SAP modules. Gather business requirements, conduct business transformation workshops, write functional specifications and coordinate with programmers to develop RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow) objects.  Address and resolve production issues related to Logistics and Distribution processes. Ensure logistics execution workstreams are properly identified and prioritized, resources utilized, timelines met and provide consistent status updates leveraging project management tools. Collaborate with developers and analysts to provide input and ideas to address troubleshooting and escalation. 

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of progressive related work experience. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:  

  • Developing functional specifications for custom development and interface with external systems via IDoc/EDI (Intermediate Document/Electronic Data Interchange) using SAP PI document management tools to cater to unique business requirements; 
  • Performing unit testing, regression testing, and defect resolution in HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented in line with the business objectives, and resolving defects in HPSM (HP Service Manager) and ServiceNow;  
  • Analyzing complex business problems in inbound, outbound and return processes and implementing robust technical solutions through SAP LE (Logistics Execution) functional configuration and design;  
  • Designing SAP implementation by leveraging ASAP (Accelerated SAP) methodology framework to optimize time, people, quality, and resource usage; 
  • Gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and delivering optimizations and enhancements in SAP modules, including OTC (Order to Cash), Pricing, ATP Check (Availability Check), TMS (Transportation Management and Logistics System), DU (Delivery Units), Batch Search Strategy, QM (Quality Management) in WMS, Putaway and Picking Strategies in WMS, LE-MOB (Mobile Data Entry), RF-ITS Mobile (Radio Frequency-Internet Transaction Server), Serialization Profile, HU (Handling Unit), SU (Storage Unit Management), Cross Docking, Physical Inventory, WMS Shipment (or WMS Outbound Processing, or LE SHP (Shipping), and WMS Returns Methods (or EWM RMA (Extended Warehouse Management Returns Material Authorization) or LE Return Transfers); and 
  • Supporting OTC and LE workstream with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.  
  • 80% travel required nationally.
