Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Stamford, Connecticut and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION, ON-GOING OPERATIONS, AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF SAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. PARTICIPATING IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, WHICH INCLUDES REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS, SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, ESCALATIONS AND URGENT ISSUES. EVALUATING CLIENT TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, DEVELOPING CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS, AND DRAFTING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNING, PROTOTYPING, TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. DEVELOPING DASHBOARD WIREFRAMES AND DESIGNING REQUIREMENTS BASED ON DISCUSSION WITH AN UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNICAL AND VISUAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS. DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING PROJECT DELIVERABLES FOR CLIENTS FOR ALL PHASES OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE TO SUBSTANTIALLY BUILD THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITIES. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND ASAP SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLES FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAP SALES AND DISTRIBUTION (SD) SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS. ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES, AND ENVIRONMENTS USING SAP SOLUTION MANAGER. INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATE REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING MICROSOFT OFFICE AND SHAREPOINT. USING SAP SD TO SUPPORT, PARTICIPATE IN AND LEAD THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS. CONFIGURING AND TESTING SAP SD INTEGRATIONS WITH SAP WM (WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT), MM (MATERIALS MANAGEMENT), AND FI (FINANCE) IN THE AREAS OF DELIVERY MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNT RECEIVABLES. TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLE STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING MICROSOFT PROJECT AND MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT. COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES. USING TESTING TOOLS TO SUPPORT, PERFORM AND OVERSEE UNIT TESTING, INTEGRATION TESTING, USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING AND REGRESSION TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS. DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING SAP SD. SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD. ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND ASAP SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLES FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAP SALES AND DISTRIBUTION (SD) SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS;
  • ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES, AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES, AND ENVIRONMENTS USING SAP SOLUTION MANAGER;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATE REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING MICROSOFT OFFICE AND SHAREPOINT;
