Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Participate in implementing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)/Oracle Cloud financials software applications, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests. Conduct business process requirement gathering sessions, evaluate business requirements, perform fit gap analysis, and map business processes to the Oracle functionality. Plan and execute functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design and flow mapping). Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing Oracle EBS and Cloud modules. Configure Oracle Cloud applications to meet requirements and document application set-ups. Support configurations, customizations, reports and interfaces, testing, and user training. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype and test custom design solutions, and support system implementation. Develop and maintain project deliverables for all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to substantially build system functionalities. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities, and design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the conversion to Cloud. Create test cases and perform Functional, Non-functional, System integration and End-to-end testing of software applications.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Implementing Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, including Oracle Purchasing to standardize, streamline, and automate the source-to-pay process, Oracle iProcurement to enable end users to find goods and services with a user-friendly interface, Oracle Sourcing to enable requirement gathering, document sharing and negotiation activities, Approval Management Engine (AME) to manage the various document approval rules and routing, iSupplier to qualify and assess suppliers, compliance, and negotiation, Oracle Inventory to enable Inventory Management, Inventory counting, and Inventory planning and Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) module to manage preventive maintenance, asset tracking, and maintenance process;
  • Implementing Oracle Order Management (OM) for internal order processes, drop ship process, back to back order process, intercompany transaction, and shipping and picking process;
  • Facilitating and conducting workshops, such as, requirement gathering, to-be process flow confirmation, design workshops, system integration testing (SIT) and User acceptance testing (UAT) workshops;
  • Participating in various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Oracle EBS applications, which includes requirements gathering, business process analysis, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues;
  • Utilizing Agile methodology to create user stories, setting up Oracle Application, and preparing custom component and interface functional specifications in tight sprint cycles;
  • Participating in driving business transformations and on-going operations and maintenance services for the Oracle EBS SCM applications;
  • Functioning as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs;
  • Creating functional system requirements documentation and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models;
  • Testing and creating test plans for core and business specific custom functionalities and ensuring successful implementation of Oracle EBS SCM applications; and
  • Building SQL (Structured Query Language) queries for reporting and data extraction, using API (Application Program Interface) and PL (Procedural Language)/SQL programing to develop custom extension and data migrations, and developing XML (Extensible Markup Language) Publisher reports.
