Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Pittsburgh, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Creating roadmaps that encompass business strategy and technology enhancements. Conducting gap analysis of current systems and processes. Facilitating requirements gathering sessions with client leadership. Leading requirements gathering process for system enhancement. Performing system analysis and facilitating client interaction to drive discussions about desired requirements. Managing the technical designs of systems based on gathered requirements and an understanding of current system design and architecture. Leading discussions with development teams to identify plausibility of designs and opportunities for further system enhancement. Performing system checks to ensure that proposed design meets client and industry standards. Overseeing development of systems that incorporate client designs. Communicating with development teams to ensure that proposed system architecture and codes meet client requirements and standards. Managing project development progress and identifying gaps that require mitigation. Developing overall project timelines and defining team/project milestones to ensure deadlines are achieved. Managing the overall User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and ensure that any reported issues are resolved. Communicating with development team for any codes that may need additional testing. Leading system deployment by providing direction for data migration and code deployment to production environment. Communicating production issues with the maintenance team to identify root cause and resolution.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall, Web-based applications and data analytics project delivery or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing and implementing Government, Public Services and Energy, Resources and Industrial solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Coordinating the project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables;
  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis, and profiling to identify data gaps, utilizing Oracle SQL to rectify data redundancies and anomalies;
  • Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details utilizing JAMA, JIRA, and offshore communications;
  • Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating applications with each other, and optimizing system structure, utilizing knowledge on state level government policies, NextGen systems and JAVA architecture, to improve stability and performance;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Microsoft Visio and iRise; and
  • Performing unit, integration, smoke, user acceptance and regression testing utilizing JAMA and JIRA, and supervising a team of on/offshore testers to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions.
