Position Summary

As an experienced Cluster Sports Results Manager you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and readiness of the Results Services liaising with LA28 Technology, Timing and Scoring provider, Deloitte service managers, and other LA28 Functional Areas (FAs).
  • Responsible for the implementation and delivery of all Results Services at the Venues.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Operations and Technology Transformation delivers market leading expertise and industry depth by harnessing deep sector knowledge, scaling the power of hybrid services and products, and unlocking the power of Process Bionics to deliver sustainable and impactful solutions to our clients. We advise, design, implement, and deploy innovative and technology enabled solutions focused on “heart of the business” issues in specific sectors including Health Care & Life Sciences, Digital Banking & Payments, Investment & Wealth Management, Insurance, Telecom, Media and Energy & Resources.

Our OTT team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry—and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Previous proven career track in results management at Olympic Games, other multi-sports events (Pan-American, Commonwealth, Asian Games), World Championships or World Cups
  • ORIS, PRIS and ODF process knowledge
  • Experienced in management of clients, processes, and people
  • Experienced in project management, risk management and reporting skills
  • Strong understanding of software applications and integration
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced, multi-level, project-based environment with an emphasis on timelines is an asset
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $180,000. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
