Work you’ll do:
The purpose of this role is to provide secure, scalable, flexible, resilient, and adaptable on-premises and cloud hosting solutions to a specific client in the Public Sector. You will provide suggestions, examples, and presentations on how to best optimize cloud tools and technologies for the client.
Responsibilities include:
- Consulting with client stakeholders on strategies for deployment of new cloud technology implementations, monitoring and optimization of existing equipment
- Engaging with clients to understand objectives and provide insights and alternatives specific to cloud technologies
- Delivering end-to-end infrastructure management solutions in a cloud environment
- Improving infrastructure operations through better use of monitoring, cloud coding and scripting best practices
- Implementing cloud governance, build, deployment and monitoring standards for the clients
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Secret Clearance heavily preferred, ability to obtain is required
- At least 3 years' experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience presenting to clients on cloud best practices
- Must be legally authorized
to work in the United States without the need
for employer sponsorship, now or at any time
in the future
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-Based Processes: Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Facilities Management, Performance Tuning, Asset Management, Disaster Recovery, Data Center support
- 2+ years of experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction
- 2+ years of experience with legacy system engineering assessments, discovering the build and details surrounding the system in order to re-build it in a new hosted environment
