Deloitte Chief Executive Program Lab Program Lead

We are seeking an experienced manager to join our team as the Lab Program Lead to help run the Lab program and facilitate Lab delivery. This role will give someone a unique opportunity to work with a wide array of clients to solve exciting business challenges, stretch their critical thinking and problem solving skills and network with executive level clients as well as senior Deloitte leaders that include Clients & Industry leaders, function leaders, and high-performing LCSPs who lead the Advantaged Client Portfolio (ACP) accounts.

In this role, you will:

Manage and Grow Lab Pipeline:

  • Promote Lab sessions, through interactions with account teams, in support of the team’s goals
  • Develop relationships with key account teams
  • Explore creative approaches to grow interest among ACP account leaders/members with purpose of expanding the CHEXP lab pipeline
  • Evaluate and manage incoming Lab inquiries; staff and oversee end-to-end CHEXP Lab delivery processes
  • Oversee Lab Program operations (e.g., recruitment/training of CHEXP Lab Fellows, Lab reporting, finance/administration, etc.)
  • Manage use of Salesforce to track Lab information
  • Develop communications, help deliver onboarding/training sessions, and manage interactions with various Lab Program stakeholders (e.g., Lab Facilitators, Lab Managers, Executive Coaches, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other Executive Accelerators teams and the Executive Accelerators Lab COE to drive efficiencies in Lab delivery, share knowledge and, when appropriate, co-deliver client Labs
  • Manage Chief Executive Program Lab IP (e.g., Lab collateral, Lab tools, etc.) and contribute to development of new Lab offerings

Design and Deliver Labs:

  • Use facilitation and presentation skills, including the ability to understand and address client challenges and draw out key talking points
  • Expertly apply strategy methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Choice Cascade, Scenario Planning, etc.) to design labs for CEOs and Executive teams
  • Deliver tailored, high-quality and consistent Transition Labs and Executive Team Strategy Labs virtually and at Deloitte Greenhouse® locations for CEOs, BU Presidents, Governors and/or their Executive Teams (note—currently all Lab offerings are being delivered virtually)
  • Lead the coordination and execution of Lab design, Lab day, post work and ongoing activities
  • Lead pre-planning calls; drive and customize Lab design and planning to align with account team/client needs; work with client teams to plan for and dry-run impactful client sessions by tailoring the Lab, recommending demonstrations to be shown, tailoring demo stories where relevant, and helping to formulate the agenda
  • Work with business and external partners as needed to construct and orchestrate client Labs
  • Bring a wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, and functional area/Deloitte objectives to resolve complex issues in creative ways; bring personal subject matter expertise to play where relevant

Support Chief Executive Program Initiatives:

  • Contribute to ongoing program-wide initiatives (e.g., eminence program/Lab-driven insights, development of internal training materials, other strategic initiatives)
  • Mentor, coach and apprentice team members (e.g., rotational Lab Fellows and other more junior team members) in Lab design/production, and delivery/facilitation
  • Contribute to team-building activities for the CHEXP core staff, Lab Fellows, and other internal Program partners

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in management/strategy consulting
  • Familiarity with core strategy tools/frameworks and experience in design/facilitation a plus
  • Minimum of 3-4 years direct experience serving Deloitte clients, delivering services through a function
  • Bachelor’s degree plus advanced degree (i.e., MA, MBA)
  • Strong project and time management skills and the ability to work independently under pressure and on multiple projects while maintaining best-in-class deliverables, great customer service, and driving performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communicator and good listener, with ability to craft clear and effective messages both orally and in writing
  • Ability to navigate a global, matrixed, and virtual work environment
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail
  • Approximately 20-25% travel required (dependent upon current travel restrictions and future, post-COVID operating model)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
