The CtS Manager, in collaboration with the CtS Lead, plays a critical role in shaping the future direction for the Certified to Sell (CtS) program and managing the CtS portfolio and team. In addition to day-to-day management of the certification of individual assets, the role encompasses team management, mentoring, and managing strategic planning and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to advance as the firm continues to prioritize the role of hybrid assets within the global marketplace, making them a key focus in driving differentiation and competitive advantage.

Primary responsibilities include:

Perform leadership role on the team

  • Provide day to day direction to the team for program activities balancing client customer service, efficient asset throughput, and managing firm risk and appropriate due diligence
  • Mentor and model behavior of prioritization, connecting the dots, crisp and succinct communication, understanding and focusing on accuracy of details, and an awareness of audiences for communications
  • Empower and coach team members to take ownership and accountability for assets throughout the end to end CtS process and proactively thinking ahead in order to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Support prioritization of team workload and manage leadership expectations of throughput and program improvement projects
  • Manage onboarding activities for new team members to drive consistency, expertise, and a gold standard CtS approach across the team
  • Manage and drive strategic planning and projects to help support the future direction and scaling of the program
  • Collaborate with the lead to develop a high performing team that models a culture of inquisitiveness, respect, collaboration, and positive energy, and values diversity, inclusiveness, and well being

Collaborate and prioritize assets with the Practice

  • Interface with the OP asset leader teams and the practice to align and confirm asset fit and readiness
  • Collaborate with asset sponsors and monetization SME’s to identify the most accretive monetization path
  • Review and drive evaluation of required program deliverables for quality and completeness in order to confirm readiness, maturity, and next steps

Guide asset teams through Productization

  • Drive and facilitate asset teams through the productization program by liaising between risk, independence, tax, OGC, pricing, finance, security, trade compliance, confidential information, and other specialized areas of expertise across the firm
  • Provide productization guidance, connect dots, and anticipate and lead the resolution of roadblocks/issues
  • Align with asset manager and stakeholders on requisite program inputs, outputs, decisions, and next steps

Facilitate progress, transparency, and reporting

  • Ensure team adherence to CtS best practices, approach, and principles in order to maintain client and domain efficiency in fact and perception
  • Practice continuous improvement principles, identifying, proposing and supporting team in implementing program changes based on lessons learned and with the objective of increasing program transparency, scale, and efficiency
  • Direct the requirements gathering process and the implementation of the new ServiceNow workflow tool
  • Manage and drive team reporting and documentation to ensure accuracy, succinctness, and improvements
  • Report status and key metrics to Innovation & Platforms and other stakeholder leadership
  • Oversee timely reporting of the general pipeline and outcomes of decisions/next steps

The team

Innovation and Platform’s Certified to Sell program guides asset teams through certification reviews to enable assets to be sold separately via a subscription license or be assessed as a technology fee to clients. The CtS Manager collaborates with leaders from Innovation and Platforms, IOQ, Tax, Finance, offering portfolios, and others to manage and facilitate the full program.

The ideal candidate is a Manager with experience in product management, inspiring and leading high performing teams, strong project management and communication skills, excellent facilitation/presentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building strong relationships. A proactive and hard-working attitude will help the person excel in this role.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience managing teams and/or strategic global projects
  • Executive-level reporting, communications, and presentations
  • Project management with multiple dispersed groups
  • Experience facilitating between technical project teams and diverse business groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with asset management, monetization, and/or certification
  • ServiceNow experience
