We’re looking for enthusiastic interns who are eager to learn and grow within our Deloitte Center for Financial Services (DCFS) team’s summer internship program. As an intern, you’ll be assigned to our research, operations, and marketing teams and spend 8 weeks developing new skills, working with diverse groups of professionals, and gain first-hand exposure to the processes and methods we utilize in developing and publishing our thought leadership to the broader Financial Services marketplace. You’ll get to know other interns who share similar goals, attend company-hosted events, meet staff members in other departments, and network with people in your field of interest.
Work you’ll do
As a summer intern, you’ll participate in local and national professional trainings, networking events, and community activities to enhance your internship experience. During your internship you’ll:
- Be assigned a balanced workload between our research project teams, complemented by assignments aligned to our operations functions, to provide a research development lifecycle experience within the Center for Financial Services.
- Working closely with our research teams - specializing in banking & capital markets, insurance, investment management, and commercial real estate – you’ll learn how we acquire and summarize secondary research content, analyze research and market data, and gain a broad understanding of research report development.
- Use your exceptional organizational skills to help manage timelines and work with diverse groups of locally and virtually based professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field with an undergraduate graduation date in 2026
- This position is expected to start in June 2025 and last for 8 weeks
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Strong academic track record (minimum 3.2 GPA)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet research tools
- Superior time and project management skills
- Experience in financial services, marketing or communications desired
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
This role will not be converted into a full-time position.

Through our research, thought leadership, and marketing programs, our Center for Financial Services team provides actionable insights to the US Financial Services practice, our clients, and the marketplace. We work directly with our senior leadership and subject matter specialists to develop and deliver world-class research to enable the practice to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients. This compensation range is specific to New York state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $31/hr.
