We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Management professional to join our team. The Configuration Management Specialist will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex C5ISR systems and infrastructure solutions, spanning Information Operations (IO), METOC, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.
Work you’ll do
- Establish and maintain a configuration management system to track and control software, hardware, and acquisition and technical documentation
- Develop and enforce configuration management policies, procedures, and standards via Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process
- Collaborate with external software developers, program office engineers, and fleet installation teams to define and implement configuration management processes and workflows
- Maintain a centralized repository for software code, documentation, and related artifacts
- Coordinate with development teams to plan and execute software builds, releases, and deployments, driving Software Upgrade development and submission
- Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field + 5 years of relevant configuration management experience
- Strong understanding of and experience with configuration management principles and best practices
- Comprehensive understanding of Meta model components to include virtual machines, operating systems, firmware, images, hosting environments, and networks
- Experience with configuration management tools and databases such as Git, SVN, Perforce, JIRA, SPIDER, CM Pro, NSERC, and Naval Lift
- Knowledge of the NAVWAR ECR and PTRB processes including timelines and development of briefing materials
- Active Top Secret Clearance and preferred SCI or SCI eligible clearance required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems
- Active TS/SCI Government Clearance
