About the role
As a business analyst, you will play a critical role in helping design, build, support and deliver products for our healthcare clients. The right candidate will help us define the business requirements in detail, work with product and engineering teams on detailed specification and build.
- Take a high-level idea or requirement, and engage with various stakeholders to scope out the idea (including detailed requirements, mockups, prototypes, etc.) to a level of detail needed for engineering teams to go through development
- Work with internal engineering team/product development on product build lifecycles, assist in tasks necessary to make a developed product market ready
- Play a hands-on role in in the agile software development lifecycle by reviewing user stories, grooming backlogs, running sprint review/sprint showcases and other similar activities
- Analyze and report on competitor products in the marketplace to diagnose capability gaps or differentiators of the Deloitte product, and articulate strategic steps necessarily to maintain a competitive position
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university; Advanced Degree is a plus – equivalent work experience may act as a substitute to degree requirements
- Strong understanding of data standards life cycle and standards linkages between client standards, CDISC and other external dictionaries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, energetic, passionate team-oriented personality and working style
- Proven ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally.
- Experience working closely with engineering organization to define applications and tools and manage them through the entire product life cycle
- Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now, or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in new product development from ideation specification
- Experience crafting impactful PowerPoint presentations
- Experience in agile software development methodology, and use of agile software development productivity tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence)
- Ability to juggle many competing priorities/deadlines
- The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $141,000.
- You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
