Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Kroger is currently implementing Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) v16 to modernize their systems with an objective to provide Kroger with technologies and processes that will form parts of solution to improve Kroger’s customer experience by greatly improving store in-stock positions, providing more flexibility in cross divisional supply, improving invoice matching rates, while enhancing the quality of the core data systems to drive merchandising decisions. 

The deployment of Oracle RMS into production is planned in three releases. The first and second releases are already live in production. The third release began in August 2020 with 9 deployments completing in 2021.

In addition to RMS applications, Kroger has also implemented Replenishment Applications (RE), which will be part of the scope of this project. The main objective is to provide application support and development capabilities to the Kroger Co. The applications in scope are RMS v16 (Ascend-RMS or RMS2) Finance, Inventory and Purchasing modules.

·       Azure Landing to Supply Chain Synapse (all in Azure)

·       Coordination of the process

o   Compile list of tables to ingest, verify Unique Keys

o   Create / track JIRAs for the ingestion of RMS tables to Landing

o   Create test cases for Perf environment where needed

o   Initiate JIRAs for ingestion of RMS tables to DMP, track that work, provide QA

Qualifications Required

·       Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

·       Informatica ETL (PowerCenter designer) toolset

·       Unix basics

·       SQL Stored procedure skills with MS SQL Server

·       Azure ETL (Data factory and Synapse)

·       Understanding of Jira

·       This role requires coordination with client team and offshore resources

·       Must be willing to work in Cincinnati, OH in the future
