Work You’ll Do
Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS) to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Under the supervision of upper management, guide the day-to-day operations of multiple audit engagements. Oversee projects to audit internal controls for client organizations, as well as research on complex accounting and auditing issues. Involved with legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during audit engagements. Responsible for the supervision of staff and services to clients, which includes planning, budgeting and staffing. Assist upper management with overall project management for audit engagements. Prepare project proposals for engagements and ensure that accounting and auditing services are delivered consistent with client requirements and industry standards, as well as independence requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Five years of accounting and auditing experience.
- Experience must include five years of:
- Determining risk-based external audit procedures and current accounting and auditing guidelines;
- Testing internal controls pursuant to Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAS) or ISA methodology for private companies and testing clients' financial statement balances;
- Scoping a worldwide audit and engaging overseas teams to ensure sufficient coverage and drafting detailed component team referral instructions to ensure the completed testing produces the required coverage of balances;
- Working with companies to prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or IFRS financial statements reporting requirements;
- Conducting reviews of interim financial information in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification or IFRS - International Financial Reporting Committee (IFRIC) standards and preparing financial statement reports, analysis, and disclosures;
- Utilizing tools, including international and local official statistics websites, Reuters, and real estate reports issued by JLL, CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield, to obtain relevant and critical financial data;
- Utilizing advanced Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and macros, and data analytics tools, Power BI, and audit software, to perform tracking and forecasting for audit engagements;
- Interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing issue resolution and continuity; and
- Supervising engagements, including full life cycle of audit, staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects, supervising and reviewing the work of audit teams both on site and overseas, and mentoring and coaching junior staff.
