Position Summary

Are you an individual with experience in test management and data management with good knowledge in financial accounting systems? Do you enjoy working with innovative technologies to turn data into information? At Deloitte, we provide audit support services, as part of Audit Delivery Centers, to provide teams with a way to innovate their audit delivery to achieve greater effectiveness and consistency in executing the audit. In this role, the Test Data Coordinator role will create and manage test data sets and contribute to improving the testing process.

Work you’ll do

As an Audit Analytics team member, you will play a critical role in managing and creating test data sets/test sets, curating testing artifacts, contributing to the improvement of testing processes and techniques, managing testing templates and creating testing bench marks for regression testing to improve the quality of content that will be used by audit engagement teams. You will be working with a team of experienced leads, technical analytics developers, ERP specialists, testers and business resources to build deliverables that support audit quality and objectives. You will be part of a team working closely with the senior leadership. You’ll use your analytical, research and investigative skills to:

  • Create and manage libraries of test data sets.
  • Anonymize and refactor test data for appropriate fit into test cases.
  • Manage testing approaches and test plans.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with cross border teams.
  • Ensure the work performed is in accordance with quality standards of the organization.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, computer science and/or management information systems.
  • 6-7 years of overall experience, with a blend of testing and data management experience including functional knowledge (audit, accounting, finance) and technical knowledge (SQL, SSIS, BI).
  • Deep experience in data development, data management, data warehousing, data integration, BI design, report design and analytics.
  • Extensive experience in business analysis (e.g. defining requirements and information gathering, discovery and/or specification development).
  • Good knowledge and understanding of key technologies including SSIS, Informatica, Tableau, Trifacta.
  • Deep experience in software testing processes and methodologies.
  • Appreciation and understanding of the challenges that working with large, complex and commercially sensitive data brings to the testing process.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of data migration and data transformation while referring to data management principles.
  • Good understanding of various SDLC processes including Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels while managing expectations and understanding diverse requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate clear decision making based on the facts at hand while considering priorities, resources and business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team for the achieving of common goals.
  • Ability to demonstrate the concept of ‘bringing people along’ (e.g. present an idea and achieve buy-in from peers).
  • Strong working knowledge of VSTS, Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent business communication skills (verbal and written in English).
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.


  • Good understanding of audit and/or general accounting principles.
  • Experience in working with one or more ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience in using automated testing tools and/or implementation of automated testing tools.
  • Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, even in a virtual environment
