Position Summary

Deloitte Insights – Audience Growth and Engagement, Lead (Senior Manager,)

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious leader for the Deloitte Insights Audience Development team. This person will manage and lead a dynamic team of professionals to execute a multi-channel audience growth and engagement strategy targeted towards C-level executives at large, global, multi-disciplinary businesses and organizations. They also will work closely with the other leaders within Deloitte Insights publishing to help establish and shape Deloitte’s research and thought leadership publishing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong team leadership skills, a data/insights-driven approach to developing and refining digital-first strategic promotion and audience growth plans, and a collaborative spirit with the ability to bring different teams together to execute against common goals.

Work You'll Do:

You will be responsible for using audience data and insights to actively grow the Deloitte Insights target audience and increase engagement among targets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic planning and visioning, and overall management of the full spectrum of digital promotion channels for Deloitte Insights.
  • Collaborating with the audience insights team to decipher marketing analytics and customer insights to develop a deep understanding of our audience’s preferences, journeys, and profiles.
  • Applying audience insights to grow audience base, increase engagement, create new audience experiences and drive personalization strategies.
  • Seeking out industry best practices, experimenting with new approaches and tools, and being disciplined and analytical in measuring and sharing results.
  • Managing a geographically dispersed team to execute against strategic priorities.
  • Collaborating and partnering with the DI Publishing team leaders, research centers, and other internal teams (Strategic Marketing, Global Technology Services, etc.) to drive marketing initiatives and experiments.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant corporate marketing experience
    Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business or technology field
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies for C-Level audiences and how they come together to increase audience reach and engagement and provide measurable results
  • An innovative mindset that can think strategically with a willingness to execute tactically
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills – with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective storytelling, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional, virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and/or professional services a plus
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint are a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
