Work you’ll do  


  • Review and analyze energy regulations regarding environmental, social, and economic impacts of energy project development
  • Deliver asset management design and implementation 
  • Budgeting and planning for operations 
  • Actively participate in development of business and vendor relationships
  • Lead aspects of the proposal development process
  • Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives
  • Mentor and coach others
  • Help our clients make infrastructure decisions that strategically align with organizational objectives
  • Build suitable structures, systems and controls so that our clients can deliver capital projects with confidence
  • Deploy construction analytics to help our clients harness data to create insights in digestible and actionable form
  • Manage project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities and provide input and guidance into the staffing process

Join our team of engineers, economists, planners, financiers, and data scientists who work to build and improve infrastructure and support economic growth across the United States. We work collaboratively to help agencies plan, finance, develop, build, and deliver the next generation of infrastructure across the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Municipalities.  The client issues we tackle include transportation, energy/renewables, connectivity, social and health infrastructure, disaster response and recovery monitoring, and smart infrastructure. 


Qualifications 

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Ability to travel 50%-80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing energy regulations or managing the construction engineering life cycle
  • 4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others

 

Preferred:

  • Previous Professional Services Firm or Big 4 experience
  • Currently certified as a PE, AIA, PMP, PSP, CCM
  • MBA


For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $170,000.


You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
