Work you’ll do / Responsibilities
The Application Engineer Level II will be supporting IT Modernization efforts for a federal healthcare client. The AE II will be responsible for analyzing, planning, designing, and documenting changes for Data Migration efforts. The AE II would also be expected to manage a team of application software developers to help with implementation and testing of architectures. The AE II should be familiar Data Standards specific to electronic healthcare records (EHRs). This candidate must be familiar with industry best practices for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in application engineering
- Experience with data standards specific to electronic healthcare records (EHRs)
- Experience with industry best practices for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Masters degree requires 6+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree requires 8+ years of relevant experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
