  • Create and/or support project deliverables
  •  while demonstrating an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • 3 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience
  • 3 years of experience in OOPS, Core Java, Collections, Multithreading etc.
  • 3 years of experience in the areas of Angular 6 and above – including front-end development, ReactJS, JSP, Typescript, HTML, custom tags, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
  • 3 years of experience with working with various frameworks including Spring Boot all modules, Spring/Struts, JDBC, Hibernate, and Webservices (SOAP/REST)
  • 3 years of experience on web/application servers including Tomcat, JBoss, WildFly, WebSphere, etc.
  • 3 years of experience writing SQL with complex joins on RDBMS as well as an understanding of database functions
  • 3 years of experience identifying and creating common UI components and component library
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

 

Preferred:  

  • Experience of working in health and human services project including integrated eligibility, SNAP/TANF, Medicaid Eligibility Determination projects, Child Care, and long term supports and services
  • Experience in writing comprehensive UI unit test cases using Junit
  • Experience in performing code reviews [manual and tool based]
  • Experience in DevOps process and tools including Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, or UrbanCode with build technology including like Maven or Gradle
  • Web services knowledge is a plus
  • Exposure to Atlassian Suite including Jira and Bitbucket
  • Ability to understand methodologies and tools used for delivery and display a passion to follow and devise processes for improving quality
  • Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 5/ SE 6 /Sun is a plus
  • Certified Java Associate (SCJA) is a plus
  • Understanding of building UI applications using Webpack
