Anaplan Senior Consultant

Finance & Performance – Unlocking financial performance and enterprise value

We work as trusted advisors to CFO’s, COO’s, CIO’s, and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared services and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.

Work You’ll Do

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating, and making recommendations, as well as helping clients implement proposed solutions.

Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability.  As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Five plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
  • EPM experience building models and implementing Anaplan Financial Systems Solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models and modules to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and other business processes.
  • Expertise in complex data analysis (specifically relating to financial planning)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable)
  • Anaplan Model Builder certification
  • Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements
  • Experience with Data Hub integrations and design
  • Relevant finance or equivalent use case experience
  • Experience in requirements gathering and mock-up creation or management of COE and prioritization with business on requirement
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect and/or Anaplan Delivery Manager
  • Advanced functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
  • High level of proficiency to understand and interrogate complex business data requirements, and build feeds and analytical models that will deliver the relevant insights
  • Deep understanding of financial planning business capabilities and processes and the implementation of such within a major organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and assignments 
  • Outstanding critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375.
