Alliances Marketing Manager - ServiceNow

Role Overview

The Alliances Marketing Manager combines marketing expertise and digital experience with strong project management skills to develop and implement US integrated marketing campaigns, client-facing programs, and event sponsorships. You’ll build and maintain relationships with Alliance partners and collaborate with key stakeholders to clearly define requirements and deliver expected results, and as a result will leverage the global marketing plan, to create our own US plan. As the Alliances Marketing Manager for a very large Alliance, you will be responsible for managing defined alliances marketing programs to create internal and external awareness of technology solutions in a fast-paced team environment. In this hands-on role, you must have strong written and oral communication skills with critical thinking and time management abilities. In this hands-on role, you must be an exceptional communicator with critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills. This role supports Deloitte’s Ecosystems & Alliances business strategy and collaborates with some of the world’s leading technology providers to address business challenges and meet new market needs.

Work You’ll Do

Plan and deliver effective marketing programs which build pipeline for alliance programs and drive business growth for Deloitte’s Alliances go to market initiatives.
Collaborate with key relationship managers, alliance teammates, and sales teams to develop integrated alliance marketing campaigns to achieve Deloitte and partner pipeline goals through marketing automation, events, thought leadership, collateral, and digital marketing.

  • Manage tactical execution of marketing programs which build pipeline and eminence for alliance programs and drive business growth for Deloitte’s Alliances go to market initiatives
  • Proactively manage project timelines and maintain processes to deliver consistently high-quality marketing materials
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities for the Jr. Marketing Consultant on the US ServiceNow Alliance team
  • Support the development of strategic messaging and positioning to differentiate Deloitte and advance awareness of capabilities, offerings, solutions, and successes across the broader organization and in the marketplace
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns to differentiate Deloitte. This includes creating collaborating with internal resources to produce marketing content, and producing material suites over various channels (digital, print, social, video, etc.) to aid with local activation in targeted geographies
  • Implement programs that deliver on annual and quarterly marketing plans to meet business goals and work closely with cross-functional teams to execute agile plans and support tracking of alliance marketing investments
  • Help manage programs supporting Deloitte’s Ecosystems & Alliances industry and offering portfolio strategy working closely with industry marketing and alliance partner marketing teams
  • Deliver effective marketing programs which build pipeline and eminence for alliance programs and drive business growth for go to market initiatives
  • Track, monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and contribute to the creation of ROI reports
  • Produce deliverables including, thought leadership (whitepapers, reports, surveys, etc.), Deloitte-hosted and third-party events, externally facing videos and webcasts, speaking opportunities for alliance leaders, social media and blogging, and digital advertising.
  • Coordinate with supporting resources including graphic designers and related knowledge management and/or web resources and work with Deloitte’s internal global network to get projects completed and successfully promoted across member firms.
  • Collaborate with country-based marketing professionals to ensure alliances are positioning consistently as a global network and service provider, with local expertise.
  • Participate as a core member of the Deloitte E&A Marketing team, sharing responsibility for cross-region campaigns and activations.
  • Implement programs in a cost-effective manner to achieve desired business goals.
  • This role must navigate the intersection points of global and US market priorities in addition to industry and account based targeted marketing
  • Bring your blend of creativity to ours and create out of the ordinary campaigns

The team

Deloitte Consulting’s Ecosystems & Alliances Team is made up of professional alliance managers, alliance marketers and technical architects who understand the principles that drive successful alliance relationships. Together, they enable differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions between our practice and alliance partners that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of professional B2B marketing experience in technology or professional services
  • Experience in designing and executing B2B content marketing and digital campaigns
  • Experience in working closely with creative and agency resources in support of campaign development and execution
  • High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Experience with digital and technology alliance marketing
  • Strong performance in developing, managing, and executing multichannel marketing and demand generation campaigns
  • Experience working with a team in a virtual mode with remote access
  • Track record of achieving success in a matrixed organization
  • Agile marketing experience
  • Experience supporting Alliance marketing programs and events
  • Experience tracking and maintaining marketing expenses

Skills:

  • Ability to synthesize information to create succinct materials; familiarity with integrating various technologies and tools to support marketing efforts
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong negotiation, project management and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrable project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,000-$219,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
