Work You’ll Do

Provide advisory and managed services to help clients spot, assess, manage and respond to risks and catastrophic unforeseen incidents that could undermine their competitive position and jeopardize their critical assets, reputation and financial standing; bring to market thought leadership, insight and analysis that helps clients think and act differently about strategic risk; provide advisory services in various areas of risk management, risk analytics, and crisis management; diagnose client’s current strategic assumptions, blind spots and organizational dynamics to provide fresh insight into competitive advantages, vulnerabilities and strategic risks; explore future trends and scenarios to understand strategic risks; conduct requirement gathering workshops with Application Business & Technical Owners to capture Application dependencies, cross-functional team dependencies, security expectations/standards involved for Implementing the Web service Security, Identity Access management, SSO (Single Sign on) services using IBM DataPower Gateways, IBM Security Access Manager and IBM Security Identity Manager; demonstrate knowledge in Web Service Security, Identity Access Management, and Federation Services (SSO Services) and create an Implementation strategy for securing the Web services hosted in ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and different applications within the network; and understand engagement as it relates to client business. Will commute within the Detroit, Michigan area to consult with clients concerning the above job duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Eighteen months of IT Industry experience in Identity and Access Management, Directory Services Management, Web Service Security, Single Sign-on (SSO), and Middleware.
  • Experience must include eighteen months of:
    • Integrating enterprise applications like IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), IBM DataPower Gateways (IDG), IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) with monitoring tools (including Splunk and log servers) to capture logs;
    • Designing security for web services including standards, Network Protocols, Network entry proofing, authentication, and authorization;
    • Developing and configuring proxy services, including Multiprotocol Gateway, XML firewall, and Web Service Proxy in DataPower, to protect web services and applications;
    • Creating User Groups and ACLs for various levels of Object Spaces within IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) for securing Web applications;
    • Configuring and deploying IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) to enable Access Management and Federation Services for SSO and implementing IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) for Identity Management and IBM DataPower Gateways (IDG) for Web Service Security;
    • Leading SSO conversations and coordinating project work end-to-end from establishing trust between the identity provider and service provider to testing the connection, creating required roles, and onboarding users;
    • Implementing Cryptographic functions including Encryption/Decryption, Digital Signatures, and encrypting data at rest and in motion;
    • Developing network troubleshooting techniques including Packet capture, TCP/IP Ping, and Traceroute; and
    • Assisting with full life cycle of engagement including project deliverable timelines, budget, scheduling, and staffing.
  • Less than 10% travel outside normal commuting distance.
