Work You’ll Do

Provide assistance to clients with defining the scope of work for various engagements; provide services involving accounting and business consulting; participate in client presentations; perform complete analysis of accounting, finance, and economic issues in the context of business transactions; provide recommendations where applicable; compile and analyze facts to formulate, substantiate, and/or critique various damages theories, claims, or conclusions; assist with engagement administration, including budgeting, billing and conflict checks; assist in the coaching, mentoring, and counseling of staff; assist with the preparation of proposals, and participate in marketing initiatives; research market issues and identify market opportunities; advise clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance; use statistical and quantitative data analysis, rules-based methods, and explanatory and predictive modeling to bring insights to client issues in the forensic and transaction domains; provide strategic analysis of structured and unstructured electronic data for purposes of deep data analysis and mining; perform cross-functional project management and operational activities for enterprise solution launch and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Eighteen months of experience in performing statistical analysis and compliance testing.
  • Experience must include eighteen months of:
    • Performing predictive analysis, data quality analysis, and statistical analysis, including financial analysis and cost analysis;
    • Performing computer programming for large-scale data analysis utilizing R, SQL Server, and Excel;
    • Performing data visualization and formulating dashboard design using QlikView and Tableau to communicate analytics findings and recommendations to client senior management;
    • Developing scripts in R and SQL Server to support advanced analytic development activities, including manipulating and managing databases;
    • Performing risk assessment and process compliance testing according to federal and state regulations;
    • Training, mentoring and coaching junior team members;
    • Interacting directly with client contacts to discuss engagement issues and findings; and
    • Performing forensic analytics within the healthcare and public sectors.
  • Position requires 30% travel.
