Work You’ll Do

Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.  Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects.  Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services and assist the client in program-wide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platform / tool RSA Archer implementation in the risk management space, including the process requirements design, writing business and functional requirements and testing the platform.  Develop and design cyber and risk frameworks (InfoSec risk, third-party risk and GRC), key risk and performance indicators, and reporting methodologies based on industry standards and regulatory requirements, and construct, assess, and implement detailed security programs and enterprise-wide risk management programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls.  Use technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services.  Construct and assess high-level and detailed security programs translating business needs and regulatory requirements into cost effective and risk appropriate controls. Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability.  Understand clients business environment and basic risk management approaches. Develop information security strategies and plans based upon generally accepted security standards. Utilize knowledge of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, business and information technology management processes, and market trends on client engagements. Build and nurture strong client relationships.





  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Eighteen months of experience assessing implications of technology risks on overall business strategy.
  • Experience must include eighteen months of:
    • Participating in workshops and designing, building, testing, and implementing eGRC (governance, risk and compliance) tools/platforms, including RSA Archer, to help organizations develop practical solutions to achieve better visibility over key components of their third-party risk programs, including various risk domains, leveraging leading vendor GRC platforms or custom-built solutions;
    • Developing program guidance documents including third-party risk management (TPRM) policies, procedures, and standards;
    • Designing, implementing, and executing cyber and third-party risk frameworks, key risk and performance indicators, and reporting methodologies based on industry standards and regulatory requirements;
    • Building training modules and developing training materials to provide businesses and risk functions an overview of third parties and associated risks, end-to-end TPRM process, and high level roles and responsibilities;
    • Participating in proposal development efforts;
    • Serving as Business Information Security Officer (BISO) within Business Engineering team for applications, including Minitab, and IBM system architecture;
    • Providing recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients, and designing and implementing solutions to integrate security into processes to enable business growth and manage risks;
    • Providing smart automation and digital solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), for insurers and banks through Case Management, Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms along with robust industry- and market-specific process frameworks; and
    • Creating Architecture PoV documents to describe the architecture types (app, data, integration, security), purposes, guiding principles, reference architectures, preferred architecture patterns, related technologies, and roles associated with implementing each architecture.
  • Position requires approximately 90% travel.
